Mount Gerizim, Nablus

When Moses and his people entered Canaan, they celebrated by holding ceremonies of blessing and cursing on Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal, overlooking the valley, now Nablus. This panorama shot of Nablus is captured from the top of Mount Gerizim, one of the highest peaks in the West Bank (2890 ft above sea level).

Kanafeh, popular Arab dessert, originated in Nablus. This place at the south end of the city, is supposed to be the best of the best.

The traffic laws exist in the West Bank, but they are often just a guideline! 🙂
