It took a few days, but the “new” chicken coop is complete! More than 50% materials were salvaged from the dumpster across the street, because like many other things, you gotta do what you gotta do with whatever you have. The chicken run was not in the original plan, but one of the chicks got snatched by a cat, so I had no choice but to add it as well.
My job at the JSB (Jerusalem School of Bethlehem) consists of being a teacher and a multimedia producer. I create “outing” videos when possible. These videos are not exactly artsy fartsy but still satisfying to create since I get to utilize the latest techniques and tell simple stories.
Just about everything is an illusion. I took this photo at an art class right next to the media classroom where I teach. At first, it looks like the girl is floating, until we realize that it’s a simple optical illusion.
Took this picture at the Bethlehem University Science Fair. The backlighting was excellent from the bright experiment spot light. It’s a good metaphor for life – Light is everything.

A shot out of our living room window. The unfinished soccer field is not utilized as intended but still used by local shepherds. Such open space ‘park’ is extremely rare here, mainly due to the lack of funds. Public playground is pretty much non-existent throughout the whole area for the same reason
